MITCHELL'S AMBASSADOR RACES NEW CUSTOM PROCESS 153 CR

This was the first time Martin had raced since taking a step back from the TMC and joining "Mud Dynamics" and our store as an ambassador. So now racing for the first time in some years in a new jersey and on a new bike he took a last minute place on the second round of the 2019 Root 1 series at Rogate.

We spoke to Martin and he talked us through the weekend...

"Sunday was a super last minute decision to race but I just couldn't resist! I’ve been craving to get the the custom 'Galaxy themed' Kona Process 153 CR between the tapes. So I thought there was no better excuse than to head down to Root1 Racing at Rogate B1kepark.

The sun was shinning and the track was dusty, but arriving late in the morning only left me time for one practice. The track was good fun and there was a great atmosphere all the way down with all the spectators shouting loud and proud!

All the heckling and seeing all the 'rad' riding spurred me on to take a 14th place in the masters catagory! Which I was super happy with considering the very limited time on the track I had! 

All in all it was a great day to be at the races with Root1 racing. Big thank you to all the marshalls, medical staff, spectators and the event organisers".
